Dave Awl is back to teach another session of his popular three-week live training class on how to effectively use social media to spread the word and build your audience — focusing specifically on the needs of small and local businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs.
How Much:
Cost is $140 per participant for the three-week course. You can register via PayPal or by check or money order.
More Details: Over the course of this three-evening class, Facebook Me! author and social media strategist Dave Awl will take you through the basics of:
- Creating a strategic social media plan
- Setting up and launching presences on key social media sites
- Developing social media content that engages your audience and motivates them to reshare
- Taking advantage of Facebook's advanced features for Page admins
- Mastering Facebook's News Feed to carry your message beyond your own circle of contacts
- Understanding the key principles of social media marketing
- Monitoring social media accounts and responding to customers effectively
- Using paid ads and promoted posts to target and reach new fans
- Tracking and measuring engagement
- Transforming customers into loyal, enthusiastic fans
This class will focus mostly on Facebook, since that's the biggest chunk of the social media audience these days, but will touch on the other key social sites as well, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, and more.
A few other notes:
— Late Bar doesn't open till 9pm on Tuesdays, so we'll have the space to ourselves during classtime.
— Late Bar has Wi-Fi, so you're welcome to bring a laptop, tablet, or mobile device to follow along with the instructor's demonstrations online if you want.
— One of Late Bar's friendly bartenders will be present so you can order coffee, soft drinks, bottled water, and other beverages during the class.
